OK, now I've got some travel books (including a guide to Nova Scotia/New Brunswick) and some maps, and yesterday I got some colored pencils to throw in the mix of what I'm taking along. I'm still thinking that all books to be read and art supplies (excluding yarn, of course) must fit into the lidded banker's box I set out for my early packing.

Actually, it's too early to call it packing. It's still hunting/gathering. But I feel the inexorable march of time, forward along this sabbatical road!
